Room is not big but has a good variety of equipments (stair climbers, ski machines, treadmills, air bikes, squat stands, etc.). Love the structure of the class (7-min rounds of different workouts) it makes you busy and not bored. I’m a beginner for fitness classes and this is challenging but not impossible as you can use lighter weights. Tracy checked in with me a few times during the class knowing I’m new, teaching me how to use equipments, the right postures and the right muscles to use.

Room is dark themed with very loud upbeat music. May take a while to get used to for new comers. If I come back, I would use the ear protection. The workout is very challenging and is guaranteed sweat and fun.

I’m a die hard Ives girl and was super bummed when she left for maternity leave. But Tara is also amazing at brining the energy, the encouragement, and the fire playlists through the whole class. Not to mention, the two Tara classes I’ve been to have been the hardest classes I’ve ever been to. Girl knows how to make us work. Love love love.

This place is the best and Oliver rules. I feel like I get a really good workout here with weights, which is something I’m really focused on and the people are nice and make it non-intimidating. I’ve been working out pretty much all my life, but I’m really new to strength training and so I appreciate The perfect mix. In my opinion of push and education. Thanks guys for everything you’re doing.

Love the clean large space! The ice breaker at the beginning was fun and set the tone for how friendly and welcoming everyone was. Even though this is group class, I felt like I received a good amount of support to help fix my form and really appreciate the help. The workout was a good mix of strength and cardio.

My favorite local workout class! Dani is the best. Really welcoming and encouraging to those of all fitness levels. Challenging but always varied and fun. I appreciate the close attention given to proper form and modifications provided when needed. The structure and timing of each circuit is well thought out, so it’s actually doable with time for rest between sets and to wipe down equipment before switching stations. I’m not someone who typically enjoys strength training or HIIT, but I know it’s good for my health, and I honestly look forward to going here.

    HIIT (Total Body)

HIIT workout was fine and effective and easy to follow, but not very creative or nuanced. Instructor super friendly and warm greeting but as class started she kind of just faded away at times. I know HIIT isn’t AF’s calling card but adding an element of in-workout challenge/targets or finishers into the class programming might make it more exciting in future.

I love that I can feel comfortable among other moms, that I don’t have to do the exercises perfectly but rather listen to my body and do what I can. The instructor encourages us to treat our bodies with kindness and provides options to avoid injury. This makes me feel safe, especially during this stage of pregnancy when safety comes first. I also love that the class ends with beautiful affirmations about embracing this change and appreciating how wonderful it is.
