alle Bewertungen anzeigenVery intense workout. When I had my first boxing session years ago, I was destroyed. Coach Brian's session had reminded me of that memory. First round was full body intense warm up exercises with burpees, lunges, push ups, star jumps and squats. Round two was a series of basic jabs and increasingly complex and devastating combos of jabs, hooks, uppercuts and ducking / rolling, each 5-10 min combo set ending in another set of those body exercises from round 1. Finally, round 3 is a continuation and culmination of all the combos in round 2, followed by a short session of core (abs) strength workouts. Coach Brian leads each exercise with a demonstration and readily assisted those needing a little extra help. Some preparation for the cardio would be very helpful, but overall it was a supportive environment and everyone does it at their own pace.

alle Bewertungen anzeigenI loved the playlist Saahil had going and the overall cozy atmosphere. I also really appreciated how straightforward his cues were rather than being overly wordy. It made the overall vibe feel laid back and no pressure, which is exactly what you want in a restorative class. Saahil also made it a point to have the class set an intention before we started our practice which I loved, along with being mindful of areas of focus folks requested, and being sure to point out which poses were addressing those areas. I love that he pointed out which chakras we were focusing on with each movement too. I will say that there was some challenges in the sequence and I typically like to just rest in restorative classes, so that would be my main point of feedback (maybe focusing on more restful asanas rather than working asanas). It’s also my personal preference to rest into shavasana a little longer 🙈 these are just my preferences! Others may disagree and overall I’d recommend taking a class with Saahil :)
