But magically the dance workout in the heated room fixed my breathing problems. It’s a bit tough during the workout but after the workout I can breathe so freely outside. So amazing!

It wasn’t the typical sequence, some of the same workouts but in a different order and it was nice to have a change! Was a good class!!

If you've never been here before, I recommend checking out the exercises ahead of time to get the most of out your workout. Sara was attentive and provided excellent instructions and clear guidance. Abs and glutes are still suffering. 10/10

Her class is challenging , engaging and she makes the best playlists !!! Sometimes in Between transitions I don’t exactly know what move we are doing so Ciara will demonstrate for the class which is incredibly helpful for me as I am a visual learner . Ciara is helpful , has great energy and takes her time to walk around to her class . She cares and it shows 🫶🏻 GO TAKE HER CLASS RIGHT NOW !

Faster paced than open level and really killer core workout - the trapeze series is so good and so killer every time. You get to move and use the reformer in ways that challenge body and mind. However there is usually at least one person in class who is inexperienced and that holds the class up. If you are a beginner, this is not the class for you. I suggest reading the description of the class before booking to ensure you are signing up for the appropriate class.

Great class for a beginner, but it will be hard (it’s slightly slower than the full body class and much lighter with no music — music would be very helpful here because it allows me to focus on something else). Room needs a temperature adjustment because it was way too cold; since there’s no pre class stretching, the temperature in this room is dangerous as your body never fully warms up & this is especially true in beginner classes. I’ve never been to a workout class where it was this cold. Hope this changes! Talented instructor but the ambiance could use some adjustments.

The room is oddly laid out but the instructor did a great job of going around and checking on the everyone. I’ve only just started solidcore but I’ve taken (way too) megaformer classes elsewhere & it was only here where I felt like I understood what to do with my body for some of the movements. Even if you’ve done many solidcore classes before, Angela’s starter50 is a must because she is so attentive. Class felt very welcoming, which doesn’t always happen. Grand Central is a bit out of my way but she has a true gift for teaching, so I cannot wait to take some other classes with her! Also, best playlist I’ve heard in a workout class!

If you’re a beginner you may not be able to follow the cues but the instructor was amazing and demonstrated everything and corrected. She did talk the whole time but I loved it. Kept everything very alert for me!

Her style was unique and although i’ve taken pilates classes many times before, I was glad I learned some new moves from her. :) I love that the studio is on the ground floor & with natural light shining in. They have extra workout tools like Tennis sized balls, Bala weight bars & Bala Power Ring to enhance your workout. I’m interested in seeing how each teacher will incorporate them in their classes. Will definitely be back again!

I wouldn't suggest them if you are new to the reformer, even if you're in very good shape, because they are technically challenging and require some knowledge of how to safely stand or use the machine. A foundations class is by no means “easy.” You will absolutely work, but I like having the option to take a brief moment transitioning when I’m unfamiliar with the move. Super clear with the instructions for moves, providing lots of options for different levels, moving around the room consistently, and adjusting form when necessary. The class was interesting, with lots of new simple moves that I’ve never tried before. And the studio space is really spectacular. With all glass walls on two sides facing the Hudson River, 30 foot ceiling, and a very calm and serene feeling. Love this studio. Highly recommend.

It was a very useful and productive class because she really focuses on form and technique so you execute the movements correctly. I learned a lot and felt a difference! You get a lot of individual attention because of the small class size which is critical to progress. I will definitely be coming back and I recommend the studio and Lynda to people who want to learn correct form and technique.
