Then I realized how handy they are for referencing form questions that I had while doing the moves. And the instructors rove around giving form tips. The time is efficiently used, with one overview and the. The video loops for reference and expert input. What I was really hoping for came - ten minutes after class I caught myself humming in the grocery store. This might be the type workout that spikes my serotonin. Looking forward to going again and seeing if the next class gifts the chemical happy too. I also liked the instructors. Helpful, warm, grounded.

alle Bewertungen anzeigenThis class is super intense. Would not recommend for beginners if you're not used to doing high intensity cardio exercises back to back with minimal breaks. I was able to modify as needed and take breaks. Gabby was very encouraging and supportive. She took time to check in, cheer me on, and correct my form throughout the session. The vibe is very friendly and welcoming. We did warmup stretches and cooldown stretches which I really liked. Overall, it was a good experience and I would probably go back again to check out more cardio + their other offerings.

She really engages you, corrects your form, and teaches you how to push past your own limits. I love her fun music selections, as they are different from what this studio offers. It is much needed, as there is only so much Taylor Swift and Britney Spears that a girl can handle. I will say this, the front desk can use a little more work with their kindness, the cult like behavior and dramatics can be off putting. They should also do a better job setting the new riders up on their bikes as I am fearful they will sustain injuries. Anywho, just my 0.02 cents! Keep Ashleigh around BDSA, she’s a new instructor with so much potential.

alle Bewertungen anzeigenSuch a good workout. My arms and muscles by my shoulder blades were sore the next day but not too bad since we took time to stretch at the end. I was lost at first with the boxing portion since I didn’t know what each term meant (front jab, back upper etc) and they’re not explained by the instructor. But I eventually got the hang of it and the instructor came to check on me to make sure I got the rhythm. It’s really loud in there though. Will definitely go back and try to get better.

The class had a good flow - more vigorous than Yin, but more relaxed and slower paced than other classes. Only feedback I have is that it would be helpful for the instructor to give hands on adjustments, especially since the class is focused on alignment. There were only 5 students in the class so it wouldn’t been too difficult to do this. She should have at least offered commentary on our alignment, even if she prefers not to do adjustments.

The studio was well lit, the instructor was great for a first time, though I do recommend doing their intro classes especially if you’ve never taken anything on a reformer. I think the inventor of the reformer would be shocked that this level of intensity has been discovered on the machine — this not for the faint of or for someone looking to ease themselves into moving their body. Stretch after and HYDRATE.

This studio, it's owner, and it's teachers provide a comforting environment for people new or seasoned in yoga practice. The space is always clean, welcoming and full of people wanting to connect through yoga and beyond. The Up Dog community is the safest and most welcome I have ever felt in a studio. She does unique exercises and it’s an incredible workout. The instructions might be tough for total beginners to follow but these are incredible intermediate/advanced classes. It’s also one of the few studio that uses a Reformer Chair!
