Payal Kadakia

Payal started ClassPass in 2011 out of her love for dance, which she has been doing since the age of 3. Prior to founding ClassPass, Payal worked as a consultant at Bain & Company and in Warner Music Group’s Digital Strategy and Business Development Group. Payal is also the Founder and Artistic Director of Sa Dance Company. She holds a degree from MIT in Operations Research and Economics.

Fritz Lanman is the CEO of ClassPass and previously served as Executive Chairman. He has been involved with the company since 2013 when he led both the Seed and Series A financing. In addition to his role at ClassPass, he is an active angel investor who backed Square, Pinterest, Wish and several other companies. Before ClassPass, Fritz founded Livestar, Verst and Doppler Labs and worked in Product Management and Corporate Strategy at Microsoft. He holds a degree from Yale University.

Tom Aveston is the COO and CFO of ClassPass, overseeing the Finance, Analytics, Legal, People, Customer Service and Partnership functions. Previously, he spent six years living in Japan and Singapore establishing the Expedia business in Asia Pacific, where he ran the marketing and commercial teams. Prior to that, Tom spent several years at Microsoft in corporate strategy and business development. Tom began his career as a consultant for McKinsey & Company and holds a degree in Economics and History from the University of Oxford. Outside of work, he is a (new) father to Cleo, and an avid catamaran sailor.
Zach Apter

As the Chief Commercial Officer of ClassPass, Zach leads pricing and packaging, yield management, marketing and business development. Previously, Zach was the head of business and competitive strategy for Google’s self-driving car project and Microsoft’s global Corporate Strategy team. He has a 15-year track record in consumer technology, including search, communications services, digital media, marketplaces, operating systems, business productivity services and hardware. He holds a degree in Economics from Stanford University and is the author of multiple patents in the area of consumer online services.

Previously, she was a CEO for a SaaS eCommerce platform.

Hollen brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in marketing and customer experience strategy at companies of all stages and sizes, including Gilt Groupe, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and CEB. Hollen holds a degree in Political Science from Tufts University. She loves to stand-up paddleboard with her husband, three kids and yellow lab.

Jacob Meacham

Jacob Meacham is the VP of Engineering at ClassPass. Previously, he was the VP, Engineering for Doppler Labs, an audio hardware startup working in the augmented reality space. Prior to that, Jacob led teams at Palantir where he helped build the first version of Palantir Foundry, a data tool that powers insights in every space, from drug discovery to disaster relief. In Silicon Valley fashion, he dropped out of college to begin his career as a video game engineer.

Jeff oversees machine learning and data products and leads marketplace strategy. Previously, Jeff worked as the Chief Data Officer for DoSomething.org. He has over a decade of experience directing data science and research teams in the prosocial and tech sectors. He also served as an advisor on civic participation to the World Economic Forum, and contributed articles on data strategy to the Harvard Business Review. Jeff studied Economics and Public Policy at the College and the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.

She holds a degree in Business Economics and Communications from University of California, Santa Barbara. After growing up in southern California, she is adapting to the ski slopes of Montana with her husband, twin toddlers and German Shepherd.

She holds a degree in Neuroscience from Dartmouth College.
