alle Bewertungen anzeigenBeen taking this class every week for the past month or 2 and I absolutely love it! Maria has such a cool, friendly personality and is obviously a great dancer and instructor. The class itself is structured very well: a short but very effective full body stretch and core warmup, followed by a sequence of foundational technique/stability exercises. And then we apply all that we’ve learned that day and channel it in a fun choreographed piece at the end that doesn’t feel too overwhelming, even for a complete beginner like myself. Simple enough to follow along but still challenges you to push yourself beyond what you think you can do. I’ve taken other “beginner” contemp classes recently but they were either not challenging enough, or didn’t focus enough on technique, etc…but this one checks off all the boxes for me personally :) Also, the studio itself is well-kept, incredibly spacious (upper level has its own lobby area with more studios and washrooms), and is a very short walking distance to Dupont subway station. Looking forward to continuing my journey here!

The class does have more people than other drop in classes I’ve been to at 2ZStudio but that’s because Kai is so great. I highly recommend. It is a tad above beginner level though so it will be a good challenge.

When I arrived, no one checked me in, so I’m wondering if there may have been an issue with the attendance management system. I definitely attended the session, so I’m not sure why it was marked as missed and why the fee was applied.

He truly knows how to make such a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The class was beginner, friendly, and even when our coordination was off, he was able to replace any pressure. He felt to be perfect with humor, charisma, and community. Thank you so much for providing me with an amazing start to my Saturday that truly just shaped how the rest of my day felt. I will 100% be back. I will bring all of my friends and most importantly just keep doing what you’re doing!! you are fantastic. Greg and this concept is so motivating inspiring and needed.
