Even with grappling, they made sure I was comfortable as a woman and were by far the most aware and thoughtful instructors I have ever had for anything in that way. They did not waste any time or seem to hold any knowledge back - they coached me how to hit harder than the boxing gym I tried right away. They just seem to have a lot to teach and were excited to work with me - I felt very welcome and not awkward. It felt like all the students got personal attention. Also the room was very comfortably air conditioned in this heat wave. Driving there was easy since it's in the nicer area of Stewart Ave right by Nassau Blvd.
