see all reviewsI was nervous about this class because I am weak, inflexible, fat, and uncoordinated, and I was anticipating that it would be at best lightly humiliating. But I enjoyed the heck out of the class, and I felt supported, safe, and welcome (and not at all humiliated). The teacher offered a lot of variations on activities that I think allowed all participants to be challenged. I got sweaty and elevated my heart rate a bit, but it definitely isn't a cardio experience. It did wear out some of my muscles, and I was a little sore the next day in some weird ways. Mostly, though, it was just really fun and interesting to move my body in ways I haven't in decades.

Dance Church
see all reviewsDance church is literally my favorite thing to do. Such a cool space to dance your heart out like you’re in the CLERB. I’m not a sober person but I feel like this is an incredible outlet for sober folks to meet friends and experience that “going out” feeling without drinks, etc. I’ve never felt self conscious of my body (or my lame dance moves) in this welcoming space. All the instructors are beautiful and incredible and every time I leave I can’t wait to come back! Thanks yall!
