My ex had done it for years and wanted me to do it with him and never did out of fear of being involved in such a contact sport.. After we separated, I have been on a journey to heal myself and push myself to try things that once made me uncomfortable and overcome fears. Well, I did just that. I walked in. Nervous. But they made me feel so welcomed. I already had a Gi (thanks to my ex 😂) but they fitted me for a belt and we got started. The warm up was great. I was falling behind realizing I’m so out of shape. Haha but we started to do drills and it was honestly super cool. My training partners were super patient with me. The coaches walked me through it all and did a lot of one-on-one, step-by-step guiding me. I walked out feeling great. Definitely beginner friendly. Coaches and others taking the class were all extremely welcoming and patient. 1000% coming back again.
