I am more on the bendier side and I would have loved more challenging poses, but this was great for exploring classic poses and longer holds allowed to find more space and new angles within them. Perfect for a rest day! Shout out to our teacher - a great guide! Fluid sequencing and her instructions were extremely clear even for a gal still learning French. Would come back.

alle Bewertungen anzeigenNot a class for me. Although I appreciated it for the sake of novelty and the studio and the instructor was top - hence all 5 stars. And thanks for at least having something late in the evening . I am not a yogini, nor by any means a complete beginner, but did not break any sweat during this class, however I would advise against taking this class to beginner as it is not well balanced and doesn’t provide any foundations. You would get a better sweat and open up your body with a more “traditional” class, such as fyra flow. There were several challenging yoga poses that were fun to try, also some interesting twists. Which I appreciate. But it is not a class that builds heat or creates space in your body, nor aligns your body bu addressing basic asanas and their correct form. A specific type of class that one could explore if they are already further in their yoga journey.

alle Bewertungen anzeigenAbsolutely fantastic. The hot yoga slow flow focuses on your current emotional state and releases tension throughout the body, with a strong emphasis of opening the chest. The studio is clean; zen, the right lighting; the right music. Water, tea, snacks available. Clean showers and changing rooms. Staff was nice. Not over the top “fake nice”, but you feel comfortable and they get you what you need when asked.

The teacher was really attentive I would correct our posture to help us have a good base. At the end of the session, at our request, she would put a wet cold towel to regulate our body’s temperature.

She pays attention to little details and since this class is for all levels, she adjusts based on your own abilities. Classes are very beginner accessible, there is a bit of learning curve in regard of using the machine and picking the correct resistance depending on ones fitness level. Thats just a reformer thing in general. A beautiful view from the studio. No shower though. However the music was not my jam. Soft upbeat covers of various mainstream top40 pop songs. Also heard Fergie being played, and Nelly Furtado-promiscuous girl. Someone else would probably love it and it’s just a preference thing and there will always be someone who doesn’t like it no matter the choice. Nevertheless switching it up could be interesting, maybe palatable melodic house , yacht rock, funk.. Anyhow teacher was great at adjusting the volume when she spoke up to give us directions, very thoughtful.

She creates opportunities to practice some more advanced poses but you don’t feel left out if you can’t do it. The class is dynamic with a relaxing part at the end. I always feel rejuvenated afterwards - highly recommend!
