My one recommendation would be to add to the how to prepare section of the page by making sure people know that the floor in the room is a “mat” of sorts, and they they do need to bring a floor towel to practice on—not just a towel to wipe sweat away. Overall, good experience!

alle Bewertungen anzeigenWasn’t Becca though. It was instructed by Kayla who struggles to properly prepare class curriculum and make adjustments that is appropriate for the class level. This class’s students complained of inaccessibility of skills shown due to a lack of the same extremely high level of flexibility Kayla has. Curriculum should be for the students and not for the instructor. Kayla also fails to properly warm the students up before suggesting they do far end flexibility work. Again, she seems to programs for herself and not the students. Finally, she typically starts class late, even arrives late, and does not demo things more than once. Confusion from the students is noticeable. Leaving five stars because it’s reporting under Becca and Becca does deserve five stars. Hoping this feedback makes it to Kayla.

It was my first time so it was definitely painful on my skin hooking my leg on the pole since I wasn't used to using a pole and I also learned that I need to work on my core strength to be able to hold myself up. I need to lose weight to make it easier but it was really fun and I look forward to learning and getting stronger.

alle Bewertungen anzeigenIt was not at all what I expected, but it was super chill. It was an empty studio to myself with access to a speaker. It was in the back of an adult store. The staff was nice. The studio did have a window that looked out to the store, but it had curtains although they were kind of sheer so I did feel like a couple times. There were men peeping in and there’s a one-way hallway that leads to the studio so at times I didn’t feel the safest. I could also just be paranoid because the screen runs over the building. It sounds like and it’s super loud and at one point, I thought I heard a banging on the door. The door does lock though and you have to have a passcode to get in so that made me feel better. Anyways, it’s a cool place, especially if you’re already an experienced dancer and need an empty studio to practice whereas I have no idea what I’m doing. I was just having fun, but it was still a good time.
