As I read in previous comments I called first to make sure the appt time I was going to reserve was available before booking on ClassPass since I read comments about people waiting a long time. I waited maybe 5 minutes after check in before being taken to a room.

However, I found that the extraction by hand and the hydradermabrasion might have been a bit too intense for me. I was expecting ultrasonic scrubbers for the extraction. Next time, I might either try a different facial or ask Ashley to take a gentler approach. Ashley was very communicative and explained each step of the process, which I really appreciated. I’m definitely considering coming back. On a side note, I learned that this business will be moving to a new location soon—congrats to Ashley on the move!

One other client was there when I arrived. But it was still private with a curtain separating us. Clean. Spa like music and water sound. Very relaxing. Started with changing into a strapless towel. Then looked at my hair under the camera. Really cool to see your hair follicles and scalp that close. Massage before the hair washing and the head massage during the washings felt amazing. In a shared wellness space, her suite lighting and music was soothing and comforting the entire time. The two hour facial consisted of a double cleanse, extractions, hydrating mask, neck massage and more. Lovelyn checked on my allergies, sensitivities, and comfort often and the bed was heated. Lovelyn asked about my skin care regimen, helped me develop a better plan, and did not try to sell me anything. I inquired about future treatments and she said she would summarize our session and send pricing in an email which seems super kind. Though there must be a connection issue with class pass because I haven’t received her intake form or summary email. Lovelyn also practices a natural, holistic approach with an emphasis on Chinese medicine. #classpassinsider
