Sports Massage
alle Bewertungen anzeigenThis was a weird and not great experience. I booked the 90 min sports massage. I had an evening appointment and when I arrived the lobby light was off, the place seemed closed but the door was open. I didn’t have a chance to specify that I prefer a female masseuse so was disappointed to be with a male but figured whatever, it’ll be fine. It just proved why I prefer females. The entire appointment felt unprofessional and borderline uncomfortable. He talked through the entire thing, commented on my body / flexibility / strength / tattoos, didn’t keep a good eye on the sheet and what was covered ( I don’t think hugely revealing but enough on edge that I would be nervous / anxious at points during the massage) but said he “keeps his eyes closed” which felt very weird? The massage itself was not good. The stretching part felt somewhat helpful but seemed like he wasn’t super sure he was doing them right. I don’t feel any of my knots were loosened. Lastly, I’m a distance runner preparing for a race that has been running for 20 years, and this man who is definitely not a runner tried to give me training and nutrition advice through the entire duration of my appointment. No thank you!!!! Not asked for and huge mansplaining about a topic he knew nothing about. Will not be returning and do not recommend. The woman who worked the desk seemed sweet, the table was heated, for 90 min it was pretty cheap, and some of the stretches were helpful so 2 stars rather than 1.
