The instructor did an amazing job keeping us in positions to really feel the burn for up to 15 seconds, compared to others who tend to speed through. She emphasized sharp posture and fully engaging the target muscles, instead of adding multiple movements at once, which I found much more effective. I especially appreciated the five minutes of stretching at the end—it made the class feel complete and balanced. Her motivating voice and perfectly leveled music were the cherry on top!

I had a really hard time getting my bike set up and my shoes clipped in, and it took two additional staff members to help get it right. I missed the first few minutes of class because of this. For me, this means I'll likely avoid coming to classes on weekdays to avoid the stress of trying to get everything set up in the dark.

Tori was great, her class challenged us physically but no where did I feel pain or like I was going to give up. Additionally, the pace was nice and the exercises were very balanced. Like I never felt like I was straining any group. The music was great but the only thing is I sat at the back and it was so loud. I couldn't hear most of the instruction, I wished I had a warning about the noise or brought earplugs.

Honestly, I was intimidated going in because they say it’s their most advanced class and the other classes are already challenging as it is. But it really wasn’t that much more challenging than the other classes the pace is a little faster but if you’ve taken a couple of the other classes and already familiar with the workout here you can do it!!

This was a challenging but beginner-friendly introduction to the Pilates reformer machine, and one I’d gladly recommend or take again. --- FACILITY Parking was plentiful at the Preston Rd. location, and I was able to park just in front of the entrance. I felt safe walking from my car even in the early morning before sunrise. The studio was well-lit and clean. There were grippy socks available for purchase at about $20 per pair. There were cubbies available along the wall to stash my purse and water bottle. The reformers were in good condition. --- INSTRUCTION The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The atmosphere was non-judgmental. The instructor introduced herself to me before class to gauge my experience level, and checked in with me throughout the class to help with form modifications. After class she checked in again to get feedback on my experience. --- WORKOUT The workout was challenging but beginner-friendly. It was a gentle full-body workout that can be modified to accommodate a wide-range of fitness levels. The focus was on strengthening, toning, and stretching using body weight, bands, and the reformer. Even though it was not a cardio-intensive class, I still worked up a sweat. --- PRICING The class pass credit cost varies based on time and location, but I got my 1st class for half-off (3 credits.) Regular pricing for a single drop-in class is $45, but there are membership packages available that are heavily discounted from the drop-in fee. For those who like measurable data for tracking progress, the Lakewood location also has “Fit3D Body Scanning” sessions available ($60 for a 15-minute session) to assess body composition
